You are the person who keeps things moving.

You notice what needs to be handled before anyone asks. You make the plan, manage the mood, carry the details, and keep your own needs in the background.

At some point, even rest can feel like one more thing you are supposed to do well.

This workshop creates room to notice the pressure you live with, understand the patterns beneath it, and consider a different way forward.

A practical pause for people who are used to pushing through.

01

Friday, October 16

The roles you learned to play—and what they cost.

Notice the patterns that help you get through the day, and the parts of yourself that may have been left out of the equation.

02

Saturday, October 17

The pressure you still follow, even when no one is asking.

Explore the rules, expectations, and over-responsibility that can keep your body and mind in a state of constant readiness.

03

Sunday, October 18

What you want to carry forward.

Turn what you have noticed into a personal, grounded next step for the life you are already living.

Reflection, conversation, and embodied attention.

Each session blends accessible education with guided reflection, journaling, and simple body-awareness practices. There is no expectation to share more than feels right for you. The goal is not to fix you. It is to help you better understand what you have been carrying and how you want to respond when the familiar pressure returns.

Two experienced clinicians. One carefully held space.

Robert B. Jaffe, Ph.D., LMFT, C.Ht.

Dr. Jaffe has been a licensed psychotherapist and certified hypnotherapist since 1984. He brings more than four decades of clinical experience, thoughtful guidance, and a deep respect for the complexity of people’s lives.

Mitra Rashidian, Ph.D., LMFT, CST, ABS

Dr. Rashidian is a psychotherapist, certified sexologist, and sexual-health researcher. Her work blends clarity, warmth, and a close attention to the relationship between personal history and embodied experience.

Workshop details

How will I receive the Zoom link?

After payment, you will receive an order-confirmation email. Paid registrants will receive Zoom access details and any workshop materials by email at least 72 hours before the first session.

Will there be a recording or replay?

No replay is included. The live workshop will not be recorded for participant replay so that the group can remain present and private.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the Heart to Heart Counseling contact page. A full refund is available when a written request is received by October 2, 2026. Between October 3 and October 9, 2026, a registrant may request a one-time credit toward a future eligible Heart to Heart Counseling workshop, subject to availability. After October 9, registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. If Heart to Heart Counseling cancels or reschedules the workshop, registrants may choose a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.

Is this psychotherapy or a therapy group?

No. This is an educational and experiential workshop. It is not psychotherapy, individual counseling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis care, or a substitute for care from your own qualified provider. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship. If you need immediate help, call 911, contact local emergency services, or call/text 988 in the United States and Canada.

What are the expectations for participation?

Each registration is for one person. Please do not share your Zoom access link, record the session, take screenshots of participants, or distribute workshop materials without written permission. Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and may be removed for behavior that compromises the safety or learning of the group.

You do not have to keep carrying it alone.

Join us for three mornings of honest attention, practical reflection, and space to hear yourself more clearly.
